The app keeps track of cost as the session runs. If your wallet would run out mid session, the system ends the session cleanly before that happens. You never owe money, you never go negative.
Every host sets a per kWh price per connector, in their local currency. Drivers see the price on the charger detail page before they start a session.
When you charge on a partner network, your EVUNITY wallet still pays for it. EVUNITY exchanges the session through OCPI 2.2.1 with the partner, and the cost lands in your single history.
